At the transport logistic 2015 we will present the many new topics that we have added to our well established logistic software ECHO. You will see topics like our graphically redesigned locomotive and personnel allocation tool, automated identification and checking of invoices, or mobile applications for RTCs and repair companies.
For RTCs we offer a graphically redesigned locomotive and personnel allocation tool. This module makes it easy to quickly direct your orders to the available resources, by using the drag and drop function. The Allocation tool can also be purchased as an integrated ERP system. ECHO as an integrated ERP – System offers the complete support of your railway-specific operations and business processes, from the first inquiry to accounting.
Through integration of an OCR solution ECHO is now capable to read and process invoices automatically. Instead of recording countless invoice line items manually, the whole invoices get scanned and the required data is imported into ECHO. There the information is automatically connected and verified. In this manner your business processes in the area of invoice acquisition can be significantly opitmised.
VPI 08, the module of the VPI-maintenance guideline regulates the data exchange between repair companies and ECM’s in rail freight services. By the means of the VPI 08-adapter for ECHO, these large data sets in XML format can now get automatically imported into ECHO , checked and exported from ECHO. Now users of the adapter can benefit from the advantages of the VPI 08 conformed data exchange, by error reduction and accelerated processing times.
Infrastructure managers and shippers will from now on have the opportunity to automatically recognize and identify in- and outgoing vehicles and wagons. Through an OCR system UIC numbers, numbers of wheel-sets, and other wagon inscriptions are recorded and transferred to other IT – Systems. This allows complete control as well as accounting of the use of the infra structure.
We now offer apps for smartphones and tablets for RTCs and repair companies, by which the tasks of mobile service teams are greatly simplified. Through this app needed documents like wagon lists, brake sheets and damage protocols can be created and edited. Additionally ToDo-lists can be followed up and service deliveries can be reported.
